A leader of one of the demo's sponsoring organizations is holding up objects that were apparently hurled at us. He is holding a pretty hefty rock, some sort of big pliers, and canned meat product. I personally did not see these types of objects thrown, but something substantial must have hit the journalist who was injured.
Update: One of our members was hit by the metal wire cutters in this photo. He is receiving treatment for a broken rib. Also, Chinese websites and apparently now the mainstream media are using pictures like the one above in an attempt to show we brought these items with us before the protest, and we staged the whole thing.  Next
